Epson Establishes MENA Regional Headquarters in Riyadh, Strengthening Saudi Arabia Presence

Epson has established its MENA Regional Headquarters (RHQ) in Riyadh, strengthening its long-term presence in Saudi Arabia and positioning the Kingdom as a strategic hub for its operations across the Middle East and North Africa. Located in Riyadh’s Olaya District, the new headquarters will serve as a centre for regional operations, customer engagement and collaboration, enabling Epson to provide more localised support and technology solutions as demand evolves across industries.
The move builds on more than 15 years of operations in Saudi Arabia and represents a significant expansion of Epson’s established footprint in the Kingdom. The company plans to strengthen its service capabilities, deepen relationships with its distribution and channel partners, and expand its presence in sectors including education.
Saudi Arabia’s growing position as a technology and business hub is central to Epson’s regional strategy. Investments in digital infrastructure, smart cities and technology-led economic diversification under Vision 2030 are creating new opportunities for technology providers, while the Kingdom’s geographic position provides an important link between markets across Asia, Europe and Africa.
Epson said its Saudi operations will contribute to these priorities through technology innovation, digital transformation and the development of local talent. The company launched its Epson Graduate Programme in 2022 to provide young professionals with practical experience and skills development. Three graduates from the programme have subsequently joined Epson.
Ryo Tachimori, Vice President of Business Operations for Epson’s Middle East, Türkiye, Africa, Central and West Asia (META-CWA), will lead Epson’s Saudi operations as General Manager. He will be supported by Suat Ozsoy, Vice President of Commercial Operations for META-CWA, who will serve as Regional Director, and Husam Alzughayyar, who will continue as Country Manager for Saudi Arabia.
Together, the leadership team will oversee Epson’s strategic direction, business operations, marketing and financial performance, while driving market expansion and integrating the company’s products and services across the region.
The Riyadh headquarters also forms part of Epson’s wider investment programme across the META-CWA region. The company has allocated more than US$13 million towards regional infrastructure and facilities to support long-term growth and sustainability. Between 2022 and 2024, investment in facilities increased by 28.6%, while personnel investment rose by 45%.
Husam Alzughayyar, Country Manager of Epson Saudi Arabia, said the establishment of the RHQ marks an important milestone in the company’s development in the Kingdom. “We are honoured to have been granted the official Regional Headquarters license, marking a key step in establishing our RHQ in Saudi Arabia. The foundation of our new regional headquarters in the Olaya District marks an exciting milestone for Epson as we continue to invest in the Kingdom,” said Alzughayyar.
He added that the expansion reflects Epson’s broader commitment to delivering technology solutions designed around the needs of businesses and individuals across the region. The Saudi Arabian RHQ will operate alongside Epson’s Dubai headquarters, creating a more integrated regional network designed to improve coordination and customer support.
Epson also plans to expand its channel partner network and market reach in Saudi Arabia. The stronger local presence is expected to bring the company closer to customers and partners while improving communication with Epson’s research and development teams in Japan.
The establishment of the Riyadh headquarters signals Epson’s intention to make Saudi Arabia a more prominent part of its regional operating model, as the Kingdom continues to attract investment and accelerate its transformation into a technology-driven economy.
