HP Expands Next-Generation AI PC Portfolio with NVIDIA RTX Spark-Powered OmniBooks and OmniDesk

HP Inc. has expanded its next-generation AI PC portfolio with the HP OmniBook Ultra 16, HP OmniBook X 14 and new details about the upcoming HP OmniDesk, all powered by NVIDIA RTX Spark and Windows. The new devices are designed to address the growing demand for PCs capable of running increasingly sophisticated AI workloads locally, alongside conventional productivity, content creation and entertainment applications.
First previewed at Computex in June, the new RTX Spark-powered systems bring personal agents, local AI capabilities and NVIDIA RTX technologies into thin laptops and compact desktop systems, targeting developers, creators, entrepreneurs, gamers and advanced AI users.

According to HP, NVIDIA RTX Spark combines NVIDIA’s full-stack AI platform and RTX technologies with compact computing platforms designed for the next generation of Windows PC experiences. The latest OmniBook systems are designed around a shift in personal computing from simple AI prompts towards intelligent agents capable of helping users automate tasks, develop applications, create content and manage more complex workflows.

The HP OmniBook Ultra 16 is positioned as the company’s high-performance option for AI builders, developers, creators, gamers and entrepreneurs working on demanding projects. Configurations can offer up to 128GB of unified memory and up to 1 petaflop FP4 AI performance, enabling users to work with larger AI models, including open-source and open-weight models.
HP has also designed the system around sustained workloads. Its consumer tower hinge and trunk architecture is intended to improve airflow and heat dissipation within the thin chassis, supported by larger heat pipes and dual ultra-thin fans.

The OmniBook Ultra 16 features a 16-inch 3K OLED display with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification. Quad speakers powered by smart amplifiers complement the display for content creation, entertainment and productivity. A 99Wh battery is rated for up to 17 hours of battery life under HP’s testing methodology, while fast charging can replenish up to 50% of the battery in approximately 30 minutes.

The HP OmniBook X 14 takes the RTX Spark platform into a thinner and lighter form factor. The device is aimed at creators, developers and AI enthusiasts who need local AI and RTX capabilities while moving between work, content creation and entertainment. Its thermal design incorporates rear thermal architecture, heat pipes and optimised airflow to support demanding AI workloads while maintaining portability.

The system also features an OLED display with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification and is rated for up to 15 hours of battery life. A 140W USB-C GaN adapter supports fast charging, including up to 50% charge in approximately 30 minutes.

HP is also preparing the OmniDesk powered by RTX Spark, extending the company’s approach to compact AI computing into the desktop environment. The system is designed for always-on workloads, including long-running AI agents and tasks that can continue operating while users are away from their desks.

HP said further information about the OmniDesk’s features, experiences, pricing and availability will be announced closer to launch. The HP OmniBook Ultra 16 is expected to be available through HP.com and Best Buy in autumn 2026, with pricing to be announced closer to launch.
The HP OmniBook X 14 is also expected to arrive in autumn through HP.com and other retailers, with pricing yet to be announced. Pricing and availability for the HP OmniDesk will be confirmed closer to availability.
