Mannai Corporation QPSC has appointed technology industry veteran Sumanta Roy as Group President for Information and Communication Technology (ICT), giving him responsibility for accelerating the company’s technology growth across the Middle East and Africa.
Based in Riyadh, Roy will lead the Group’s ICT business as Mannai deepens its presence in Saudi Arabia and expands its regional footprint. His appointment comes as the company looks to bring greater scale and integration across its ICT operations while expanding its capabilities in areas including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud, digital transformation, intelligent infrastructure and managed services.
Saudi Arabia is a particular priority for Mannai. Through Mannai Information Technology Saudi Arabia, the Group is scaling its operations in the Kingdom and positioning Riyadh as a base for its wider regional technology strategy.
Roy will focus on strengthening relationships with customers and technology partners, broadening Mannai’s portfolio in high-growth technology markets and creating greater alignment across its ICT businesses. The broader objective is to turn the Group’s existing regional capabilities and global partnerships into sustainable, profitable growth.

Grewal added that Roy’s experience would be particularly valuable as Mannai strengthens its leadership in Qatar while accelerating its ambitions in Saudi Arabia and the wider region. Roy brings more than 30 years of experience spanning IT services, business transformation and regional business growth. Before joining Mannai, he served as President and Regional Head for the Middle East and Africa at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), where he was responsible for business growth, market expansion and customer relationships across the region.
During his time at TCS, Roy helped strengthen the company’s presence across Middle Eastern and African markets while advancing initiatives around AI, cloud and digital transformation. His work also included significant engagement with the Saudi Arabian market, giving him direct experience of one of the region’s fastest-moving technology economies.
