What are your expectations from the event this year?
As the most popular tech event of the year, GITEX would be beneficial for any company to participate in, as it continues to be the leading platform for generating fresh business leads, discovering and showcasing industry innovations, and presenting the latest cutting-edge solutions. Thought leaders can expect to connect and generate more opportunities. Additionally, we expect attendees to get a better understanding of present and future technologies.
What will be your theme of participation at GITEX?
Our main theme for GITEX 2022 is ‘Realize your network vision: 2030 and beyond’ in which we focus on the region’s outstanding digital progress. From cloud to the Internet of Things (IoT), 5G connectivity to AI to data center developments, and everything in between, digitalization is at the heart of MENA’s ambitions. The demonstrated products and solutions are not only catered to address all of these current concerns in the industry, but also prepare consumers for tomorrow’s challenges as well.
Do you plan to run any online engagements such as webinars and offline engagements such as tech talks, demos, keynotes, and so on, alongside GITEX?
During GITEX, we are also planning for a customer event – VIP Technology Forum where we will host our key customers and partners. We will be delivering business updates including solutions and innovation, as well as discussing upcoming trends during the technology forum.
How have your regional strategies changed in recent months?
Our strategy is in line with the region’s visions. We have noticed that digital transformation has been a focus for data center network providers as well as indoor and outdoor network providers. In order to handle tomorrow’s demands of higher bandwidths, lesser latencies, and increased data transfers or a cloud migration, visions such as the Abu Dhabi 2030 vision targets further adoption of and investment in ICT infrastructure. This means that sectors such as Cloud Computing, IoT, Cybersecurity, Smart Cities, AI, and 5G will be more advanced to handle demands and expectations.
