FarEye Launches PILOT, AI Dispatcher for Last-Mile Logistics

FarEye has announced the launch of PILOT, a new agentic AI-powered dispatcher designed to autonomously manage end-to-end logistics workflows while maintaining human oversight for critical decisions.

Developed for enterprise-scale operations, PILOT brings together 11 specialised AI agents that work across planning, execution, and control functions. The system is designed to streamline key logistics processes, including route planning, driver scheduling, delivery validation, failed delivery recovery, proof-of-delivery audits, and invoice reconciliation.

The launch addresses a longstanding challenge in logistics, where dispatchers often rely on fragmented tools and manual processes to manage operations. By automating routine decisions and flagging high-risk exceptions for human review, PILOT aims to significantly reduce operational complexity while improving efficiency.

According to FarEye, deployments across global enterprises have demonstrated measurable impact, including a 95% reduction in dispatcher hours, a 3–5x decrease in dispatchers required per hub, a 17.5% reduction in cost per delivery, and first-attempt delivery success rates exceeding 90%.

“The dispatcher is the most underserved role in logistics, burdened by spreadsheets while carrying the entire operation,” said Gaurav Srivastava, Co-Founder and CPTO at FarEye. “PILOT is the AI co-pilot they deserve and the financial edge organisations need. While traditional firms pay a legacy tax of manual routing and high headcount, PILOT-enabled businesses can reduce cost-per-delivery and significantly improve dispatcher productivity.”

FarEye’s AI-driven logistics platform is already being deployed across major enterprise operations, including Blue Dart, Maersk Ground Freight, and Tractor Supply Company.

“As FarEye marks 13 years of innovation, this milestone reflects the growing role of intelligent technology in the future of logistics,” said Balfour Manuel, Managing Director, Blue Dart. “Our partnership has helped advance capabilities such as real-time Chain of Custody, AI-led POD audits, and Smart Sorting, enabling greater precision, visibility, and control across the network.”

“By partnering with FarEye’s AI agents, we gain the operational intelligence needed to convert our asset capacity into a true competitive advantage,” said Sanjith Sebastian, Regional Head of Business Analytics, Network Design & Planning, Maersk Ground Freight. “It marks the shift from simply moving freight to intelligently orchestrating a high-performance, data-driven network.”

“As we scale to over 2,400 stores, our supply chain must do more than just move goods – it must think and adapt in real time,” said Brannon McGrotha. “By leveraging FarEye’s AI agents, we can seamlessly orchestrate between our own fleet and third-party networks, maximize asset utilization, and lower fulfillment costs while expanding our final-mile reach.”

PILOT is designed as an MCP-first, bolt-on solution that integrates with existing TMS, OMS, and WMS systems, allowing enterprises to adopt the platform without replacing their current infrastructure. FarEye is also offering a four-week proof-of-value programme at a single hub, enabling organisations to evaluate ROI before scaling deployments.

The FarEye PILOT platform is now available globally for enterprise customers.
