Veeam Software has reinforced its EMEA channel strategy with the appointment of three senior leaders to accelerate regional growth and deepen partner engagement. Nick McAlister has been named Channel Director for the UK and Ireland (UKI), Charbel Zreiby takes on the role of Channel Director for EMEA East, and Roman Brandl has been appointed Enterprise Channel Director for EMEA. The trio will report to Kinda Baydoun, Senior Director of EMEA Channel Sales, as the company sharpens its focus on expansion, innovation, and customer value across the region.
“Veeam is setting a new standard for what partnership means in the data resilience space,” said Kinda Baydoun. “With Nick, Charbel, and Roman on board, we’re doubling down on SaaS transformation, leading the way in enterprise data resilience, and ensuring our ecosystem has the innovation and support needed to thrive.”
The leadership expansion comes as Veeam advances a broader strategy centered on secure and intelligent data management. Recent initiatives — including the acquisition of Securiti AI and continued growth of the Veeam Data Cloud (VDC) SaaS portfolio — highlight the company’s commitment to delivering unified, AI-driven data resilience solutions. As enterprises modernize data protection strategies, Veeam is positioning its partner ecosystem to capitalize on cloud and AI opportunities at scale.
Nick McAlister brings more than 20 years of experience in enterprise channel development across EMEA. Having held senior roles at VMware, he has led large-scale partner programs, driven multi-billion-dollar channel initiatives, and delivered measurable revenue growth. His expertise spans operational optimization and go-to-market strategy execution.
Charbel Zreiby adds over two decades of IT industry experience, with a strong track record of leading channel strategies across Turkey, the Middle East, and Africa. Previously with Dell Technologies, he has built high-performing partner ecosystems in diverse markets, focusing on engagement, collaboration, and long-term relationship building.
Roman Brandl joins with deep experience supporting major Pan-EMEA partners and driving enterprise channel performance for leading IT vendors. His background includes managing strategic alliances and accelerating growth with large enterprise-focused partners, reinforcing Veeam’s ambitions in the enterprise segment.
With these appointments, Veeam aims to optimize partner coverage, accelerate adoption of Veeam Data Cloud, and maximize regional investment. Under Baydoun’s leadership, the company continues to strengthen its channel network to address evolving customer demands in an increasingly data-driven landscape.
“With the addition of these veteran channel leaders, we are reaffirming our commitment to our partners and customers,” Kinda Baydoun said. “Their expertise will be instrumental in advancing our channel strategy—enabling us to create new synergies and develop multidimensional partnerships, especially through deeper engagement with Alliances and GSIs in the Enterprise space. We are positioning our ecosystem for even greater success as we continue to lead in enterprise data resilience and SaaS transformation.”
