Review: Belkin Lightning to 3.5mm Audio Cable

When Apple dropped the 3.5mm audio jack from the iPhone, many companies scrambled to come up with accessories that could offer such basic capabilities without having to carry multiple adapters and dongles. Belkin was one of them and they came up with a brilliant idea – a lightning to 3.5mm audio cable.

This cable allows you to directly connect your iPhone to any accessory with a female 3.5mm connection. You can connect your iPhone to devices such as a car stereo, home speaker system, and more, without the need for an adapter. Belkin also claims that this cable converts digital signals to analogue signals to ensure high-resolution audio.

The cable is available in multiple lengths (3 feet and 6 feet) and is also MFi-certified. It has been designed to work with the iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone 7, and iPhone 7 Plus. We used the cable with an iPhone 7 and it just worked. If you are looking for a solution to ditch the lightning to 3.5mm adapter that comes with the iPhone, the Belkin 3.5 mm Audio Cable With Lightning Connector could be it.

Price: AED 110 approx.
