SanDisk Named Exclusive Storage Partner for Meta VR Glasses
SanDisk has been named the exclusive provider of next-generation flash storage solutions for Meta VR Glasses, which are scheduled to launch in Spring 2027. Developed in collaboration with Meta, the storage products will form part of the official Made for Meta accessories ecosystem.
The portfolio will include SanDisk microSD Express memory cards and USB-C flash drives, tested and certified for use with Meta VR Glasses. The solutions are designed to provide additional capacity for users’ growing collections of games, applications and virtual reality content, while maintaining compatibility and performance standards established by Meta.

As part of the Made for Meta accessories ecosystem, SanDisk’s storage solutions undergo testing to meet Meta’s quality standards. The certification process is intended to ensure compatibility and reliable performance with Meta VR Glasses, giving users additional options to store, access and enjoy their content.
The partnership reflects the growing need for expanded storage as immersive experiences and digital content libraries evolve. By offering dedicated storage accessories for Meta VR Glasses, SanDisk aims to help users accommodate more content without compromising the intended device experience.
